Poorly designed clip! | ||||

I bought the Elan Clip with my iPhone 3G. Within 2 hours my iPhone had fallen to the ground and been deeply gouged in the top corners of the back. Im very glad I had the screen facing inwards! The clip is poorly designed, with rounded edges at its opening and a weak spring. This allows the clip to ride up on the belt, even a decently thick leather belt, and fall off! I returned the Elan Clip to the store and got a full refund and they told me that theyve had similar complaints from other customers. I convinced the manager to remove and return their remaining stock. A friend has also returned his and bought the iSkin revo2 and clip, which he is much happier with. |

Clip breaks VERY easily | ||||

| I loved this case until the clip snapped off. It seemed shoddy to begin with but I like really low profile cases so I was willing to give it a try...I recommend against this case if you like your phone and dont want it tumbling to the ground. | |||||

| The clip on this holster was never strong enough that you can just leave the phone without worrying about it falling off. The top part of the clip broke off within a couple weeks just by normal wear and tear. Today, about 3 months after buying it, the plastic holding the hinges just broke apart, no accident or drop caused it, just opening and closing the clip. Bad quality, avoid it like the plague! | |||||
