mophie Juice Pack Air is the newer, sleeker model in town. We�ve tried out several battery extenders here on TiPb, and I�ve tried quite a few personally, but like the grail we keep looking for longer, better, and stronger power.

So, bottom line, if you need extra power and still want something sleek enough to easily carry your iPhone easily in your pocket, (and your cell signal is typically strong), the mophie Juice Pack is well worth checking out.

Not cheap but works as advertised

Pros:	Doubles iPhone Battery Life, Ultraslim, Ultralight
Cons:	MicroUSB Adapter

Ive only been using the Mophie Juice Air for a week now but so far Im very impressed. I havent done any thorough tests but when my iPhone recently hit the "below 20 battery" alert I just plugged the Juice Air and it brought my iPhone battery back up to nearly 100 within about 40mins.

Virtually the only thing to complain about is the fact that the Juice Air does not use the standard Apple connector to charge but instead requires a microUSB wall/car charger (which needs to be purchased separately). If Mophie had at least included the microUSB charger in the box I guess that it could have been a bit less irritating.

Having said all this, overall Im so happy with this Juice Air that Im actually getting one for my girlfriend as a gift (since she always complains about her battery constantly running out throughout the day).

Worth its price

The Juice Pack Air does what it says it will. It effectively doubles battery life. The case/battery combo provides what I would call medium level protection to the phone. I doubt it would survive a fall but it is ok for ordinary use. I recommend carrying it in a belt pouch case for security. One caveat, the case is smooth to the point of being slippery. I solved that problem by adding egrips to the Juice Pack. Its much more secure in the hand that way. The included cable is adequate for desktop usb port charging but you will need a longer cable if you plan to charge off an outlet. On the plus side, you can plug the cable into an Apple usb charge plug and it will work without issue. Some folks have reported that the Juice pack reduces the strength of their cellular connection but I have not experienced this at all. Overall, this is a good accessory. If you regularly run your iPhones battery down over a days use, the Mophie will keep you going. It adds a bit to the size and weight of the phone but any case does that to some degree as well.

Broke After A Week

Pros:	Works for a week
Cons:	Breaks after a week, collects lint/dust

It worked excellent for a week almost to the day. Then, out of the blue, it stopped charging (The case itself, the mini USB charging port was broken). I bought it and turns out, it had no warranty, even though it said it came with a warranty... Hmmm... I smell a scam.
